Growing up in a small town near Sydney, Ravneet Ghuman could only dream of the glamorous life of a model that was in her future. Her upbringing was based in a strong Indian cultural background and Ravneet often dealt with a lot of negativity. Ravneet grew up being told she was not beautiful based on traditional “Indian standards.” She was not able to experience any social freedom until she moved to Australia in 2003. After her initial cultural shock Ravneet embraced her new life and was happy to finally be free of all the rules that were imposed on her growing up.

Ravneet’s modeling career went into full swing in mid 2009 when she did a fashion show for one of Sydney’s High-End boutiques. Inspired to focus heavily on her passion in modeling, Ravneet knew her life was about to change for the better, every fashion show and photo shoot led to another and in no time Ravneet had a real modeling career! Ravneet realized that she could be herself in front of the camera, and escape the real world. Any girl can look pretty in front of a camera but not every girl has the ability to produce something different and unique in every photo, with less than a year’s experience! She has worked for numerous brands throughout Sydney and has also appeared as a feature in “Girlfriend” magazine, Australia’s famous teen magazine.
