As well as Schoolly D’s vast accomplishments in the world of Hip Hop he has become one of the most sought after Deejays globally, with major tours abroad in places like Helsinki and beyond. Schoolly is available for DJ sets spinning classic Soul, Funk and Hip Hop with a sound distinctly Schoolly D. From the old school of turntablism, Schoolly has “never had a party that he couldn’t rock”

Scholly D is a man of many firsts, he was the first Hip-Hop artist to tour Europe, the first hip-hop artist to be featured on a major motion picture with his work on Abel Ferrara’s “The King of New York” in 1990; and he even filmed a video with Laurence Fishburne for the song “King of New York”. This was only the beginning of Schoolly D’s prolific career creating soundtracks. He worked on the soundtracks for many Abel Ferrara films such as “The Bad Lieutenant”, “The Addiction”, “New Rose Hotel”, “RXmas”, HBO’s “Subway Stories” and the latest, “444”. His music has been featured in motion pictures like Kevin Smith’s cult classic Dogma, Adam Sandler’s classic “Waterboy”, among others from 1985 to today. He also had acting parts in many films and has done the music and occasional narration for the cult animated series Aqua Teen Hunger Force on the Cartoon Network channel in its Adult Swim programming block. He also created the song "Sharkian Nights" for the animated series 12 oz. Mouse.
